Team Round Up - Take Two!

***Correction for the 2nd team***

As the Surrey Summer Cup season draws to a close, here’s how our teams fared:

1st Team
They play their final match this evening vs Horley 1 (7.30pm at home). Come along, cheer them on and help them secure as many points as possible to stay in Division 1!

2nd Team
What a season! With only one loss, the 2nds stormed to victory in Division 4R, finishing a massive 24 points ahead of Purley 2. This means promotion to Division 3 next summer – a fantastic achievement. Well done to all who played and supported the team and best of luck with the play off vs Dorking 1 to see who will be the div 4 champions!

3rd Team
Results didn’t quite go their way this year and they finished 8th in Division 4B. Sadly, that means a drop down next season. Thanks to everyone who turned out each week and gave their best.

4th Team
A strong finish saw them claim 4th place in Division 7R, with seven wins and six losses, just 10 points off The Oakwood in 3rd. A big improvement after holding 5th place for much of the season.

We now turn our attention to the Winter Season, with the men’s, vets, and vintage teams (ladies’ fixtures TBC) set to provide more great squash and entertainment:

Vets: Saturday afternoons, from 3.30pm
Vintage: Mondays, from 7.30pm
Men’s teams: Wednesday & Thursday evenings, from 7.30pm

A very big thank you to all our team captains, who not only play but also handle the admin and organisation every week.
You can find all the results on the Surrey League Master website:

Here’s to another great season of squash – see you on court!
