We Need 4 More for the Challenger Cup!

Hi everyone,

A big thank you to everyone who has already entered the inaugural Reigate Squash Club Challenger Cup on Saturday 27th June.

We now only need FOUR more entrants to make the event a real success and complete the draw. Once all 16 places are filled, we’ll operate a waiting list.

This event is specifically aimed at players in Leagues 10-13 and those with a SquashLevels rating of 800 or below. It is open to men, women and juniors who meet those criteria. The goal is to create a fun, competitive day of squash where players can enjoy matches against others of a similar level in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The Challenger Cup is a great opportunity to:

  • Play competitive matches outside of the leagues
  • Gain tournament experience at your own club
  • Meet and play against more members
  • Enjoy a full day of squash in a friendly atmosphere

Players can expect:

  • Four matches guaranteed if enough players enter
  • Best of three games, PAR 11 scoring
  • Play running throughout the day from 9am–5pm

We may also submit Challenger Cup results to SquashLevels but only if both players agree. That means the event could also be a great opportunity to improve your SquashLevel!

Food can be brought in and heated in the kitchen or ordered in during the day and the bar will be open for refreshments and light snacks.

If you’ve been thinking about entering but weren’t sure if tournaments were for you, this is exactly the kind of event designed to give lower league players a positive first tournament experience.
