Bar Refurbishment – Works Starting Monday 17th August

Exciting times ahead, the long-awaited bar refurbishment is nearly here! We're planning to start work on Monday 17th August, with the bar reopening on Saturday 26th September. We're hoping for no more than 6 weeks of works in total.
The refurbishment will bring a brand new bar and kitchen, all new furniture and furnishings plus - something we know a lot of you will love - a TV to stream live court action from Courts A and B, plus wider sporting events too!
Please note that Court C will be out of action during this period, as it's needed for access to the working area and for storage.
At the same time, we'll also be carrying out some essential repairs to the external metal staircase. This means the first floor area past Court B will be closed and Court D plus the gym will be out of action while this work takes place. These repairs shouldn't take anywhere near as long as the bar refurbishment, hopefully no more than a week, we'll be in touch as soon as a date is confirmed.
Thank you all for your patience while this work is underway. We can't wait to show off the new surroundings, and we're really looking forward to raising a glass or two in the new bar as part of our 90th anniversary celebrations!
