The Reigate Open 2026 – What a Weekend of Squash!

What a fantastic weekend we’ve just had at The Reigate Open 2026 — two packed days of squash, great atmosphere and brilliant support from players, volunteers and spectators alike.

Across the weekend we played an incredible 137 matches:

  • 61 matches on Saturday
  • 76 matches on Sunday

The club was buzzing from start to finish and showcased squash at its very best.

While everyone sees the matches on court, what often goes unnoticed is the huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to make an event like this run smoothly.

A massive thank you to Sarah and Paul, who worked tirelessly behind the bar all weekend, keeping players and spectators fuelled with hot and cold drinks, snacks, fruit, and sandwiches (courtesy of M&S).

Huge thanks as well to Lisa, who kept the playing schedule running smoothly, alongside Sam, who made sure the whole weekend ran like clockwork.

And then there’s the less glamorous but absolutely essential jobs - emptying bins, unclogging loos, refilling loo rolls, washing up, last-minute supply runs… the list goes on. Thank you to everyone who chipped in to help make the weekend such a success. It truly was a team effort.

We’re already planning for next year’s event!

Thanks to our sponsors & photographers

We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors Danny Lee and Stellar Squash for their generous support of the event:

A special thank you as well to Reigate member, Davie Walker for capturing some stunning action shots and finalist photos throughout the weekend - a fantastic record of a brilliant tournament.

All results have now been entered into League Master and imported into SquashLevels. Reigate players, if you notice any issues, please let us know. The organisers are aware of a small number of duplicate account issues, which are currently being looked into by SquashLevels (looking at you Chris Thompson!).
