New Squash Leagues issued
Hi all,
The new squash leagues have been calculated and are available on the website. Numbers have remained broadly the same, with seven re-entrants and eight withdrawals, so there are nine leagues of seven players, and four leagues of six.
This league has been extended by a week, taking into account the work going on at the club. The cycle will finish at the end of Sunday 18th October. Court C will be out of action for several weeks whilst the bar area is being refurbished, and court D will also be out of action for one week whilst the emergency staircase is repaired. Given this, PLEASE be quick off the mark and get your league matches arranged as early as possible; there is no room for any further extension.
Stephen Kelly has won league 1 for the second consecutive time, so will receive a Giggling Squid voucher for his efforts. Well done Steve!
We are now over the half way mark in the Robin Turk Cup, and Jonny Ellis has extended his lead, putting clear water between himself and Graham Martin, who is in second place, and Roy Taylor in third. There's three rounds to go, so all to play for!
