Club Tournament

The tournament is well underway! To keep up with the latest draws and results, please head over to MyCourts. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic competition, good luck to everyone still involved!

Finals Night – Saturday 2nd May
We’re delighted to confirm that Giggling Squid will once again be providing food for players and spectators.

If you’d like to reserve a plate, please reply to this email.

£12 per person – includes curry, dessert and cheese & biscuits
£6 for Under 12s – what a bargain!

It promises to be a brilliant evening at the club. We’d love to see as many of you there as possible.

90th Anniversary Celebrations – Saturday 14th November (Reigate Manor)
We’ll shortly be asking members who have already expressed interest to confirm their places by paying £39.50. This payment is per person, will secure your place and is non-refundable.

If you’d like us to organise a table for you and your friends, family or teammates, just let us know.

On the night, we’ll be enjoying:

  • A three-course dinner
  • Club highlights and celebrations
  • Main function room plus a quiet side room
  • Our own bar area
  • Music and dancing

It’s set to be a fantastic celebration of the club’s history — don’t miss it!

Surrey ‘Big Ball’ Competition – 2nd–3rd May
The Oakwood (alongside the Surrey Racketball Closed)

Surrey Squash have introduced an exciting new format — Big Ball. Played with the same rules as squash but using a larger, bouncier ball, it offers:

  • Longer rallies
  • More attacking opportunities
  • Fast, entertaining matches

Open to all abilities, this is a great chance to try something new and compete to become the first-ever Surrey Big Ball County Champion!

Surrey Racketball Closed 2026 – 2nd–3rd May
The Oakwood

Don’t miss Surrey’s premier individual racketball tournament. With multiple divisions and a strong field of players, it’s always a fantastic weekend of competitive action and great atmosphere.

Gym

Very many thanks to Marsha for giving up her free time to give the gym a fresh make-over — it’s looking great!

We’ll also be adding a smart weight bench soon. In the meantime, please can we ask that when the bench is not in use, it is tidied away, all weights are racked and equipment is wiped down after use - thank you!

Challenge Cup

A quick reminder to eligible players to sign up for the Challenge Cup, our new one-day competition for lower league players.

  • Saturday 27th June 2026
  • 9:00am – approx. 5:00pm
  • Limited to 16 players
  • Prizes for winner and runner-up
  • Open to players in Leagues 10–13 and/or SquashLevels under 800.

The event will use a Monrad format, so everyone plays throughout the day against players of a similar level - plenty of competitive matches guaranteed!

How to enter:
Head to MyCourts - Tournaments - “2026 Challenge Cup” and register.

Spaces are limited, so please sign up soon. A reserve list will be in place if the event fills up.

The bar will be open, tea and coffee available and players are welcome to bring or order food. Spectators are also very welcome — it should be a great day at the club.
