England Call Up for Mr Beglan!

England Selections

Congratulations to our very own Wayne Beglan, who has been selected (again!) to play for England in the MO50 - very well deserved!
A big well done also to team player, Sam Hanbury, who was runner up at the recent MO50 Nationals and has also been selected for England.

Surrey Junior Trials

We are pleased to announce that the Junior Surrey Squad Trials for the 2026/27 season will take place on Sunday 17th May 2026 at Epsom College. Timings will be confirmed shortly.

This is the one opportunity each year for players to trial and earn a place in the Surrey Junior Squad. The squad programme plays a key role in supporting player development across the county and provides access to high-level training, competition opportunities and the county performance pathway.

If your child is aspiring to represent Surrey and continue progressing their squash, we strongly encourage them to attend. Reigate has a strong, proud tradition of juniors playing for Surrey Squash.

If you are unsure whether it is the right stage for your child to trial, we recommend speaking with their coach, who will be able to advise based on their current level.

Community Development Coaching Award

Surrey Squash are promoting an upcoming Community Development Coach Award course taking place at Ashtead Squash & Tennis Club.

Delivered by England High Performance coaches Jeremy Colton and Paul Carter, this is a fantastic opportunity for players, parents and aspiring coaches to begin or develop their coaching journey within squash.

The course will take place on:

Friday 20th March
10:30am start (half-day practical session)

This award is the replacement for what used to be the Level 1 course and is ideal for those looking to support junior sessions at their club, assist with beginner groups or take their first step into formal coaching qualifications.
